Don't Let Your Clothes Wear You

Young girls growing up are forced to face the harsh pressures of impossible beauty standards and as a result can develop devastating insecurities about themselves. Struggling with my weight as I grew up, I would constantly wear large clothes that engulfed me as a result of constantly feeling insecure about my weight because I didn't think I fit the ideal standard of "beautiful" which as the time I figured meant skinny.  I named this piece "Don't Let Your Clothes Wear You" as it is a reminder to never let your insecurities allow you to hide parts of yourself, because all of your parts are beautiful.
